Before this project I wasn't super familiar with the Magical Girl hype, but it was a good reminder that behind every trend is a hugely passionate fan base. I did tons of research to make sure my artistic directions and guidance for Anima met their expectations and translated to a quality piece. Ultimately it was well received both internally and by fans of the genre.
